I am a huge fan of Hummus, all kinds no matter what. I can honestly say giving up my crackers and Hummus was the hardest part for me on this new food journey(so I thought).  So I set out on a mission to make my own Paleo friendly version.  I think it was even better the regular crackers and humms. If you do make this recipie let me know how it turns out, I want all my fellow hummus lovers to give it a try, you’ll be amazed!

Crackers

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of Almond Flour
  • 1/2 tbsp of Salt
  • Herbs and spices of choice (cinnamon, Italian herbs, crushed red pepper)
  • 1 Egg
  • 1Tbsp of Coconut Oil, melted

Directions

When it forms into a ball in the bowl, remove and place on pan lined with parchment paper. Roll/press into a thin layer and score with a pizza cutter

 

Bake at 350F for 15 min. Let cool on cooling rack and break apart into crackers.

Hummus

Ingredients

  • 1 can of Artichoke Hearts
  • 3 cloves of Garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup of Tahini

Directions  

Blend together in blender or food processor
